We welcome all types of tourer vehicle, including; camper vans, motor homes, caravans and trailer tents on our hard standing pitches. Tents have their own large grassed area. Seacote Park provides dedicated, free to use wash room facilities for tourers so you don’t need to worry about carrying around change for a well deserved hot shower. We also have baby-changing and disabled access facilities. There is also a laundry on site with automatic washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities. Our beach shop and cafe sells essential groceries as well as gifts and souvenirs. As we are at the foot of the start of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk as well as being on the Cumbrian Coastal path, we are an ideal camping location. Perfect as a base for that family holiday, you can easily explore further afield using the nearby railway.
St. Bees is also part of the Cumbria Coastal Route, a 200 mile tour designed to inspire you to explore this captivating and unique area. Nature and wildlife thrive here, the coastline boasts two areas of outstanding natural beauty and numerous nature reserves. The secluded beaches offer an ideal habitat for grey seals and many rare birds. St. Bees is just about in the middle of the route, making us a perfect layover.
We have two areas for touring vehicles.
‘Lifeboat’
Our Sea view area has 11 hard standing pitches, directly facing the seafront comes with spectacular panoramic views and is situated near the RNLI station. The Lifeboat area is a strictly no awnings area. Each pitch has a water standpipe and 10 amp electric hook up. There is no drain facility.
Pitch sizes
Lifeboat area can accommodate vehicles up to 9.4m in length. Please tell us the length of your vehicles when booking so we can place you on the appropriately sized pitch.
‘Tomlin’
With 18 pitches, is further back along the park alongside the small stream that runs down to the beach, Tomlin has hard standing, spacious pitches and is our awning use area.
All pitches are hardstanding to ensure they are available and clean throughout the season for you to enjoy your stay without the worry of mud spoiling your holiday. Please ensure you are aware and have appropriate pegs and carpeting when using an awning.
All touring pitches have water standpipes & electric (10amp) hook ups, which is included in the price. The pitches have soakaway areas for your grey waste.
Tomlin touring area pitches range from 7m x 9m to 9m x 11m we allow awnings to be a maximum of 2.5m width added to your vehicle.
Tents
We have a large secluded grassed area for tents. Pitches are free allocation so you can choose your ideal spot. There are a number of hardstanding areas from the driveway to park your cars so you can keep your vehicles nearby. There are several drinking water taps available throughout the field. There are a limited number of electric hook up spaces available for an additional charge. A wooden bridge connects the tent area from the Tomlin tourers, allowing you easy access between if you have a group between the touring and tent areas.
Pricing
We keep our pricing simple and user friendly. Charges are per pitch, inclusive of number of people, pets or whether you use an awning.
2025 Prices (Low Season):
Tourers & Motorhomes: £22.00 per night. / 1 person tent: £10.00 per night, 2 – 5 person tents: £15.00 per night, 6 – 8 person tents: £18.00. / extra Gazebos/pop ups/fencing for garden areas etc: £ 10.00 per night.
Electric hook-up for tents is available at an extra £2.00 per night, but this has limited availability.
2025 Prices (High Season):
High Season dates are 4th April to 30th September inclusive.
Tourers & Motorhomes: £25.00 per night. / 1 person tent: £10.00 per night, 2 – 5 person tents: £18.00 per night, 6 – 8 person tents: £21.00, / additional Gazebos/pop ups/fencing etc: £ 10.00 per night.
Electric hook-up for tents is available at an extra £2.00 per night, but this has limited availability.
Bank Holidays
A minimum of a 3 night stay applies for all High Season Bank Holiday dates, for example Easter weekend. Please call if you are doing the Coast to Coast walk as we may be able to make exceptions, depending on availability.
Pitches are available from 1pm on the day of arrival & must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.
